Everything You Need To Get Your Business Online Properly

Choose the fixed-price package that suits your business and get a professional online presence that is easy to find, easy to contact and managed for you. Everything below is included in every package.

Professional Website

A stylish, modern and user-friendly website that gives customers a professional place to learn about your business, explore your services, view your work and understand why they should choose you. Your website becomes the online home for your business.

Built To Look Great On Any Device

Whether your customers are viewing your website on a phone, tablet, laptop, desktop computer or smart TV, the design automatically adjusts to fit the screen. Your website will always look professional, be easy to use and give customers a good experience.

Your Own Domain Name

A professional web address that belongs to your business, for example www.yourbusinessname.co.uk. Instead of sending customers to a social media page, you have your own place online that customers can easily remember and find.

Business Email Address

Look more professional with an email address that uses your own business name, instead of a personal one or @gmail.com, for example info@yourbusinessname.co.uk.

Fast Hosting Included

Your website needs somewhere secure to live online. Fast Hosting that loads quickly keeps your website available for customers to visit whenever they need your services, with your first year included so there's nothing extra to arrange.

Website Security

Your website is set up with the security features needed to protect your customers and keep your website safe. This also gives customers confidence when visiting your website. This is what gives your website the padlock in the address bar to show its secure.

Built and Set Up for Google Search

Your website is set up so it has the best chance of being found by customers searching on google for your trade in your area by building in a way search engines like. It is then added to Google search so your business can appear when potential customers are looking for the services you provide.

Google Business Listing Setup

Alongside your website appearing in Google search, your Google Business Listing helps customers find your business directly on Google. It shows your contact details, photos, services and gives customers a place to leave reviews. It helps your business get found in local searches or by name.

Social Media Connection

Connect your existing social media accounts so customers can easily move between your website and your social profiles, keeping everything joined up in one place.

Easy Ways To Get In Touch

Interactive phone, text, whatsapp, email buttons and quote request options are built in, so customers can contact you in whatever way suits them, without having to search for your details or enter them manually.

Professional Setup & Launch

I take care of the setup process from start to finish, including connecting your domain, setting up your website and making sure everything is ready and working correctly before your business goes live.

Support When You Need It

You won't be left trying to figure everything out yourself. If you have questions, need advice or want help making changes in the future, you have someone you can contact.

No confusing tech, no generic templates and no chasing different providers.

Getting Trades Online

About Me

I’m Adam — a tradesman with over 20 years of experience in trades and more than 12 years of running my own building and roofing business.

I know that a good trades business website isn't about expensive complicated technology. It is about helping customers understand what you do, see the quality of your work and feel confident enough to get in touch.

When I ran my own business, I experienced the frustration of trying to find the right help to get online that actually understood the needs of a trade business. Too often, I was offered expensive services that sounded impressive but were unlikely to have helped me win more work. Computers and coding had been a hobby of mine since I was a kid, so I decided to build my own website, marketing materials and Google Ads campaigns from the ground up. Today, I use that experience to help other tradespeople get online properly — with a service that is clear, practical, personal and built around the real needs of trade businesses.

Want the fuller picture? Here's what each one actually involves.

Each of those pieces takes real time to learn properly on its own, and on top of that they all quietly depend on each other, so it's easy to fix one thing and accidentally break another. Get the DNS wrong and your website can disappear entirely, sometimes for hours, sometimes for days, before anyone even realises. Miss the SSL setup and browsers start warning visitors your site isn't secure before they've even seen it, which is often enough on its own to send someone straight back to Google. Ignore page speed and performance and Google buries you in search results, no matter how good the site actually looks, because none of that matters if nobody finds it in the first place. Then there's everything underneath the surface, the actual HTML, CSS and JavaScript that holds a page together, the forms that need to reliably land in an inbox rather than silently fail, the redirects and broken links that build up over time, the backups that only matter the one day you actually need them, and the security that keeps the whole thing from being hacked or defaced. Each of those is a genuine subject in its own right, and getting comfortable enough to set them up properly and just as importantly to notice when something's gone wrong, takes years of doing it, breaking things, and learning why. It's demanding to get right and the mistakes it hides rarely show up straight away. They tend to surface months later, as enquiries that quietly stopped coming in, rankings that slowly dropped, or a form that's been silently failing without anyone noticing and by then it's a lot harder to work out why.

Anyone can pick a template and swap in a few photos, but two sites built on the exact same template can look completely different, one professional, one amateur. The difference comes down to dozens of small decisions most people never consciously think about: how much space to leave around things, which fonts actually work together and at what weight, how much line height makes text comfortable to read rather than cramped, where someone's eye naturally lands first on a page and how to guide it from there, making a button look different enough from plain text that people instantly know it's clickable. Then there's the layer above that, the grid systems and structure that hold a page together, the way sections need to flow into each other so the page doesn't feel disjointed, above-the-fold design that has to earn someone's attention in the first couple of seconds, hover states and small animations that make a site feel alive rather than static and trust signals woven into the design itself rather than bolted on as an afterthought. Get the spacing, hierarchy or balance even slightly wrong and a page feels cluttered, confusing or just a bit off, even if nobody visiting could tell you exactly why, they'll just leave. It's not about knowing what each individual element is, colours, fonts, buttons, icons, it's about knowing how all of them work together as a whole, how they affect readability, trust and conversion and that kind of instinct genuinely only comes from doing it over and over, seeing what works and what doesn't, for years.

This is the part that's easiest to overlook and the hardest to get right, because none of it is a single skill, it's a whole sequence that has to happen in the right order. A visitor lands on your site knowing nothing about you, and within seconds they're already deciding whether to trust you with their home or their money, so grabbing their attention and showing you understand their problem has to happen almost instantly. From there you need to explain your services clearly, establish some credibility, and start building trust, but build it too slowly and you've lost them, rush it and it feels hollow. Miss any one step in that journey and they leave, no matter how good your actual work is. Show off your work before you've explained why it matters and it doesn't land the way it should. Bring up reviews and proof at the wrong moment and it feels like padding instead of reassurance. Try to differentiate yourself from competitors without first showing you actually understand the customer's problem and it comes across as boasting rather than being genuinely convincing. Ask for the enquiry too soon and you've asked before they're ready, leave it too late, after they've already made their decision in their head and you've lost them to someone else's tab that's still open. Answering the objections and doubts they haven't even said out loud and setting the right expectations along the way, all has to happen before you ever get to the point of asking them to act. Getting that order and pacing right, so a total stranger moves naturally from curious to convinced to ready to act, is a genuine skill in its own right, one that takes a long time to learn to read properly and it's the real difference between a website that just looks nice sitting there and one that actually brings in work.

A website isn't a one-off job, it needs looking after and this is the side of it that's easiest to underestimate because it's invisible right up until the moment it isn't. SSL certificates expire, software and plugins need updating, Google keeps changing how it ranks and indexes pages and browsers keep changing what they expect a secure, working site to look like, so something that was set up correctly on launch day can drift out of date without anyone touching it. There's also the maintenance that happens behind the scenes even when nothing looks broken: backups running so there's something to restore from if anything ever does go wrong, spam protection keeping junk out of enquiry forms, error monitoring catching issues before a customer does and regular checks for broken links, dead redirects and browser compatibility problems that creep in over time as browsers and devices change. Then there's the content itself, adding new completed projects, updating testimonials and reviews as new ones come in, keeping service areas and contact details current, none of which is difficult on its own, but all of which needs to actually happen consistently, month after month, or the site slowly starts to feel out of date and stops representing the business properly. Ignore any of it and a site that worked perfectly on launch day can quietly stop working, stop ranking, or start throwing up security warnings, often without you noticing until a customer mentions it, or worse, an enquiry never arrives and you never find out why. It's not glamorous work and it's rarely the part people think about when they picture "having a website," but knowing what to check, how often, and what to do when something does go wrong only comes with time and it's what keeps a website actually working long after the day it was built.

You could spend your evenings learning all of this yourself, experimenting with designs, watching tutorials and troubleshooting when things go wrong. Or you can leave it to someone who already has.

You know your trade. I'll take care of the website.

Build It Around Your Business

Website Sections & Features

Every business is different, so your website is built from the sections that suit yours. Each one is there to do a job, whether that's answering a common question before it's even asked, proving the quality of your work, or simply making it easier for a customer to pick up the phone.

Building Trust

Before someone hires a tradesperson, they want reassurance. These sections do that work for you.

About Us / Company Profile

A space on your homepage to introduce yourself, share your experience and put a face to your business, so customers feel like they know you before they even call.

Customer Reviews / Testimonials

Showcase written reviews or badges from Google, Checkatrade or Trustpilot, so customers see proof of your reliability before they pick up the phone.

Meet The Team / About The Owner

Photos and a short bio that put a face and a story behind your business.

Accreditations & Badges

A dedicated row for your official industry logos and certifications, such as Gas Safe, NICEIC, FENSA or CERTASS.

Showcasing Your Work

Nothing sells a job better than proof of the last one. These sections put your work front and centre.

Gallery / Portfolio Section

A showcase of high-quality photos from your past projects, right on your homepage.

Before & After Project Slider

An interactive slider showing off the transformation your work creates, side by side.

Getting Found & Contacted

A great website still needs to make it easy for the right customer to reach you.

Services Section

A clear summary of everything you offer, so customers instantly know you can do the job they need.

Contact / Quote Inquiry Form

A dedicated form that captures new enquiries and sends the details straight to your inbox, so you get proper project detail instead of a one-line message.

Interactive Map

A visual map showing your location, or the exact area you cover.

Emergency Call-Out Banner

A high-visibility banner at the very top of the page for 24/7 or urgent requests.

Answering Questions Before They're Asked

The fewer questions left unanswered, the fewer calls that go nowhere.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions you get asked most, about pricing, lead times, warranties or guarantees, so fewer calls start from scratch. You'll just need to supply the questions and answers.

Price List

A clean, organised table of your rates, so customers know what to expect before they even ask.

Want To Go Further?

Optional Add-On Features

Online Appointment Booking

Let customers view your availability and book a slot directly through your website.

Live Review Slider

An automated section that pulls through and displays your latest reviews, so new feedback shows up without you lifting a finger.

Live Chat Widget

A chat bubble on your website so customers can ask a quick question instantly, without waiting for a call back or a form reply.

Blog / Latest Projects Feed

A running feed of recent jobs or trade tips, giving your website fresh content and customers more reasons to browse.

Multi-Area Landing Pages

A dedicated page for each town or area you cover, helping your website show up in more local searches.

Newsletter / Seasonal Offers Signup

A simple way for customers to sign up for updates, reminders or seasonal offers by email.

Don't see what you're after? These are just the sections and features I build most often, not the full list. If there's something specific you have in mind for your website, get in touch and I'll let you know if it's possible.

Add-on features sit outside the standard packages (except the live chat widget and multi-area landing pages when included in the complete packages), so they come with an extra charge. I'll always talk through what's involved, agree a clear price with you, and get your go-ahead before doing any extra work.

How It All Fits Together

Your Website Is A Source Of New Work

Your website is more than just a place to put your contact details. It's the foundation of your online presence — somewhere potential customers can find your business, see your work, build confidence in you and decide whether to get in touch. From there, there are further ways to build on that foundation and put your business in front of more people.

Foundation

Be found and be checked out.

Everything starts with a professional website and a properly established Google presence. Your website gives potential customers somewhere to go when they want to check you out. They might find your business through:

  • Your van, business cards and flyers
  • Word of mouth
  • Social media
  • Your Google Business Profile
  • Searching for your company name
  • Searching for your services in their area

Once there, they can see examples of your work, find out what you offer and decide whether you're someone they want to contact. Built with search engines in mind from day one, your site will be listed in Google's organic and local results — for searches like "roofer in Birmingham" or "bricklayer in Dudley".

Growth

Build your organic visibility.

Your website is structured, optimised and technically set up so Google can understand your business, your services and the areas you cover. But earning stronger positions generally takes time — Google needs to assess relevance and build confidence in a site's quality and a brand-new website doesn't have the same history as an established one. Ongoing SEO (Search engine optimisation) can include:

  • Creating useful, relevant content
  • Building out service and location pages
  • Optimising page titles and descriptions
  • Strengthening internal linking
  • Fixing technical issues and broken links
  • Building relevant backlinks
  • Monitoring search performance over time

It's a long-term investment, not a switch that's flicked — consistently improving your website and giving Google more reasons to view your business as a strong, trustworthy result. The work starts from day one and the benefits can continue to build over time.

Acceleration

Drive targeted traffic.

SEO (Seach engine optimisation) is a long-term strategy, but sometimes you want to actively put your business in front of potential customers without waiting for organic rankings to develop. That's where Google Ads can come in, with targeted campaigns built around the services and areas you want more work for. For example, someone searches "emergency roofer Birmingham":

  • Your advert appears in front of them
  • They click through to your website
  • They see your work, reviews and trust signals
  • Their questions and doubts are answered
  • They call or request a quote

The advert gets their attention, your website builds the confidence and the call to action gets the enquiry — rather than sending people to a generic advert or a basic contact page, your website gives them everything they need to decide you're the right person for the job.

You don't have to do everything at once. Your website provides the foundation; depending on your business and goals, ongoing SEO can build organic visibility and Google Ads can bring targeted traffic. Throughout it all, your website is doing the same job: building trust, showcasing your work and turning visitors into enquiries.

Questions, Answered

Frequently Asked Questions

The questions I get asked most before someone gets started. If yours isn't here, just get in touch.

Facebook is useful for updates and staying in touch with customers, but it isn't a complete professional presence. Information gets buried in old posts, you don't control the platform and it doesn't give the same impression as your own online home. A website gives customers one clear place to see your services, your work and how to reach you.

Most trades businesses go with the Professional package, since it covers everything customers usually look for before choosing who to hire. If you just need something simple to get started, Essential covers the basics. If you want the full showcase with advanced design and more features, Complete is the one. Not sure? Give me a call and I'll help you choose.

No. I build your website first, so you can see exactly what you're getting. You only pay, securely through Stripe, once you're happy with the finished site and ready to launch. There is no obligation to buy, you can walk away at any point at no cost to you.

Yes once you pay, your website belongs to your you. You're not renting a page from me or locked into a platform. You can choose to use your own hosting and email provider from day one if you'd prefer, or let me handle it for your first year and decide later, whichever suits you.

Your first year of hosting, email and domain is included as part of your package, but you're never obliged to use it. You can bring your own hosting and email provider from day one if you'd rather, or use what's included and switch to another provider, manage it yourself through your own dashboard, or stay with me on a simple month-to-month plan, no contract, cancel anytime. See what happens after year one for the full details.

It depends on the size of the package and how quickly I receive your business details, photos and information. Once I have what I need, the process is quick and straightforward, with no unnecessary delays. Most are completed within three days of receiving your information.

No. You don't need to understand websites, hosting, domains or anything technical. I handle all of that and explain everything in plain English along the way.

That's not a problem. We can use the photos you already have from completed jobs edit them to present your work in the best possible way. We can also generate images to use.

You'll get the chance to review your website before it goes live, and your package includes a round of revisions to make sure it properly represents your business. Nothing is launched, and nothing is paid for, until you're happy with it. There is no obligation to buy, you can walk away at any time at no cost to you.

Yes. I can review your current website and help improve its design, content or how well it turns visitors into enquiries, or build you a new one from scratch if that makes more sense.

Yes, it will from day one. Your website is built with the foundations needed to help search engines understand your business and your Google Business Profile is set up as part of every package. Ranking at the very top of Google also depends on factors like competition and location, but you'll be starting from a solid, properly set up base.

Because I've actually run a trade business myself, over 20 years in the trades and more than 12 running my own. I know what customers look for when choosing a tradesperson, because I've been in that position too. You deal with me directly from start to finish, no agencies, no hand-offs and no confusing jargon.

You can also add cover that keeps your site safe, backed up and running smoothly, so you don't have to think about it. Your domain, which also belongs to you, is renewed separately once a year, on the anniversary of when your site first went live. You're not tied to anything, from day one you're free to use another provider or once your free year ends, you can switch elsewhere at any time.

Keeping It Up To Date

Need something extra, or a one-off change like updating a price or adding a new photo? Just tell me what you need and I'll send you a price before doing any work, no standard fee, no surprises. Want changes included every month as standard instead, so you don't need to ask each time? Pick one of the plans below and they're covered as part of it.

Monthly Plans

Choose the level of cover that suits your business, from hosting and email on their own, up to a plan with regular changes included.

You're never tied in to me. You can use your own hosting and email provider from day one if you'd prefer, or use what's included in your package and decide later. Every plan below is paid monthly with no contract, so you can cancel whenever you like. You'll have your own hosting dashboard to log in and make updates or upload things yourself, and you're always free to ask someone else to look after your website instead. The choice is yours.
